Welcome to our gallery featuring a fantastic historic home in San Francisco with an eclectic design based in shades of yellow and gold by Jerry Jacobs Design.
This two bedroom, two bathroom penthouse is located in a historic home in one of San Francisco’s most exclusive neighborhoods.
The home has a view of the Golden Gate bridge as well, and this apartment certainly keeps the “golden” theme with remarkable attention to detail with various shades of gold throughout.
Dark hardwood flooring extends throughout the home, which is a stunning contrast to the white walls. Golden fixtures and architectural molding add an air of sophistication and luxury to the contemporary interior design.
A mix of modern and traditional furniture blend seamlessly together to create an eclectic project that creates interest and a sense of warmth and comfort. Vintage pieces complement the modern.
Keep an eye out for luxurious features of this home, like salvaged wooden bookcases, crown molding, plush carpets, beautiful vases, and a color scheme that flows throughout each room airmaniax.com.

The white marble fireplace of the study is flanked by two small built-in cabinets topped by mirrors. A large white leather ottoman with golden supports contrasts with the luxurious dark wood floors.
The main seating area of the living room consists of a light gold sectional sofa with a luxurious sheen and a small nail-trim armchair in yellow stripes. A small side table is covered in a matching fabric. The mirrored coffee table sits on an imported yellow rug from Nepal.
The stately dining room has a circular wooden dining table and ornate dining chairs. Enormous paintings on the right wall are fantastic accents to the already beautiful room. The dining room has a view of the garden.
From this angle we can see the French doors that lead out into the garden and the heavily texture buffet table to the left. Like the dining chairs, the edges are in gold for a unique, eye-catching look.
A small sitting room off of one of the bedrooms is in a bit bolder yellow and has an enormous yellow ottoman that doubles as a coffee table in front of the dark marble fireplace.
This view allows us to see into the bedroom beyond, which has leopard print bedding. Above the curved sofa is a large painting of several women.
From this angle we can better see the salvaged wood bookcases on either side of the fireplace. The white tips of the dark chandelier mimic the way the dark bookcases and fireplace meet the white crown molding.
The home’s other bedroom is a little more subtle, in a lightly patterned soft beige. Swiveling golden side lamps are attached to the wall, saving real estate on the small nightstands.
One of the home’s bathrooms is in marble and beige tile. The sink bows out all the way to the floor. A small wall separates the shower area from the commode.
