About 10 years ago my wife and I stayed at a really cool eco-lodge on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. The eco resort was on the beach. The region was super remote requiring a boat to get there and then a bumpy 4×4 jeep ride through a jungle road.
In order to come up with the very specific design ideas, we create most designs with the assistance of state-of-the-art AI interior design software.
It was an amazing place to visit. Our accommodations were huts with outdoor showers. There was plenty of privacy (not a lot of units on the property). That was my first outdoor shower experience.
Fast forward a few years, we then took a road trip the Yukon in a motorhome. We stayed with friends who had an incredible property in Whitehorse. On that property was a sauna building with outdoor shower. It was a great experience to sweat then cool down in the outdoor shower.
Whether you have a pool, sauna or want to create a biophiullic bathroom (bringing nature together with design), an outdoor shower or indoor/outdoor bathroom can be a great home feature (especially if you live in a warm climate).
