2010 Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is an American alpine skiier who have won 4 World Cup overall titles and currently holds the record for most World Cup wins by a woman.

Lindsey Vonn is a natural-born athlete, as she puts on her skis when she was still a toddler. At 14 years of age, Vonn already made a name for herself, winning the slalom at Trofeo Topolino in Italy, attaining the honor of first American woman to get the title. After years of hard work, Vonn made it to the 2002 Olympics with Team USA. The following year, she bagged the silver medal at the Junior World Championship.

After battling with hard challenges head-on, Vonn finally got the chance to win a gold medal in the downhill and a bronze in the Super G at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, fulfilling her lifelong dream to be an Olympic gold medalist. She went to win 4 overall championships later on, but suffered a devastating injury, putting her dominant career into a halt.

In 2018, Vonn made a comeback in the Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, outracing all competitors except to the two younger rivals making her the third oldest American alpine skier to win 3 Olympic medals, as well as the record of being the oldest woman to get a medal in an alpine event.
