1. Provia Visualizer (Online Software)
Example:
Provia is an easy-to-use home exterior visualizer. You can upload your own photo or use one of many photos provided by them.
You can customize the following:
- Siding/exterior color and material
- Windows
- Front door
- Roof
- Trim color
- Shutters
- Vents
2. Menards Design-It-Center
With the Menards Design-It-Center software, you can use one of many home exterior photos or upload your own.
This software offers more limitations with respect to what you can customize. Here’s what you can customize:
- Exterior colors
- Exterior materials
- Roof shingles

3. Alside
Alside’s exterior software functions much like Menards’ above. The main difference is that Alside provides its own siding materials. You can use the provided home images or upload your own.
Customization can be applied to:
- Siding
- Exterior colors
- Roof shingles.
4. DreamDesigner
With DreamDesigner you can use one of their home photos or upload your own.
I found this particular software a bit clunky to use. It’s fast, but you have to make a lot of selections in order to apply changes. The plus side is this customizer offers quite a wide variety of customization options for most exterior features such as:
- Exterior color
- Exterior material
- Roof shingle
- Front door
- Trim
- Windows
5. CertaPro “My Paint Colors”
CertaPro also makes it possible to upload your own photo or play around designing with provided home exterior photos.
This visualizer is more limited than others listed here. It focuses on exterior material and colors only.
The plus side is you are given quite a few exterior material options including:
- Paint (tons of colors)
- Masonry (all types)
- Siding (all types)
- Basic wall (stucco – many colors).

What I love about this designer is how simple and fast it is. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but you can quickly customize several of the main exterior features including:
- Roof
- Siding vs. Stone
- Trim
Boom, you’re done. It changes designs quickly.
7. Champion Windows Designer
With Champion’s home facade software to customize curb appeal of a home or your home, you can use a photo provided (quite a few to choose from) or upload your own.
Once the photo is loaded, you have a variety of exterior features to change on the left. Features you can change include:
- Windows
- Front door
- Siding
- Roof shingles
- Trim.

Champion’s software designs or lets you visualize different windows, siding and front door. It’s very basic, but it is a window and siding company after all, so it focuses on those exterior features.

9. Hoffman Weber House Design Software
Okay, you have to give this software 30 to 60 seconds to load. Once loaded, it’s pretty cool because there are many home exterior features you can customize.
While you can’t upload your own photo, there are a good number of provided photos to choose from. You can customize the following:

- Fascia and Soffit,

One feature I particularly like is how it suggests complementary matches in the bottom right. That’s helpful when getting started.

11. Eldorado Stone
Eldorado Stone sells stone siding and so that’s what you can visualize with their stone siding software.
