A new building in Ebikon has been transformed, so to speak, in the literal sense: a house was built around a house.

There really is no such thing: four garden apartments with a built-in single-family house inside. But GOLE GmbH – Architecure Office specializes in what doesn’t yet exist.
The owner of the parcel on Hartenfelsstrasse in Ebikon wanted optimal use for the special hillside location. GOLE Office implemented a concept in which a building was “converted” into a building.
The owner thus received a residence over four floors with a spacious garage in the basement, representative entrance on the ground floor and living rooms on three upper floors.
Around this, sought-after living space for tenants was created directly opposite the Mall of Switzerland. Similar to a Mississippi steamer in shape and with the striking chimney, the four rental apartments elegantly balance upwards.
They are lined with spacious terraces. Each of the new apartments has its own direct access and an outside seating area.
On the roofs: the gardens of the Lord. A pleasant nature on the inside, a clearly pointed statement on the outside.
