Why Decorate with Green?
Out of all the non-neutral colors, green is the most commonly used color when it comes to designing a bathroom. We have found that out of 30,614 bathrooms, 3.23% have a green design. You can play around with green in a variety of ways to make it work for any style.
Ways to Use Green in the Primary Bathroom
When you design with a cool color, itโs easy to go overboard and use too much of the same color which will make the room feel smaller. These are a couple of ways to incorporate green into your primary bathroom for a cozy and inviting look.
Tile
You can use green tiles to make a plain bathroom come alive. For a vintage look, try adding light green tiles to a dark green set in geometric styles. You can also use mosaic tiles with green tones running through them. This looks good with a see-through shower door.
Wallpaper
You can buy wallpaper with many different patterns and designs on it to create unique looks. If you have black cabinets or countertops, a bold green wallpaper with back designs will pair nicely. For a rustic, farmhouse look you can use a green and brown or beige plaid pattern of a wallpaper.
Cabinets
Out of 1,458 bathrooms that have a green design, we found that 0.49% had green cabinets. Painting your cabinets green is a stylish way to add color to a primary bathroom with bold existing elements such as a titled or clawfoot bathtub. You can use darker shades of cabinets if you have a big bathroom with a lot of natural lighting. However, if you have a smaller bathroom with less light, stick to a paler green hue.
Accessories
Using accessories in your primary bathroom is an inexpensive way to add color and style. Some of the best accessories to bring green into the room are plants, curtains, and floor mats. We love using accessories because they are temporary and can easily be modified.
