This particular project spotlights Maiden Stone’s product, Coeur d’Alene Dark Limestone Oversized Paving, throughout the home’s exterior.
The product is available in both light and dark limestone, a classically French limestone that is warm and rich, and takes a wide range of finishes with no fuss.
In terms of design, Coeur d’Alene Limestone is a way to create a visually commanding and oversized pattern, using monolithic pieces with minimal jointing. All this results in a bold statement with a focus on a simply elegant design.
This featured home has sparse desert landscaping, allowing the magnitude of the limestone to be shown to the fullest extent.

The courtyard of the home has sparse shrubbery and succulents in the tiered landscaping blocked out with limestone bricks, stones, and paths. The exterior facade of the home is also in gorgeous, warm-toned limestone. The lower section of the building has trellises for shade-loving vines.
The backyard opens into a field as far as the eye can see, with rolling hills beyond. The enormous stones that make up the path leads past planting beds arranged in orderly lines.
The walkway runs along the side of the building to sliding-glass doors into the home. Large glass windows on either side of the home allow visitors to see almost through the building.
The front entryway is also lined in limestone, with large, monolithic steps leading up from gravel to a manicured pathway. The sides are also limestone, pieced together to form a solid barrier. The wrap around patio is also in limestone.
