Casa Horizonte is a simple yet efficient house made up of several steel shipping containers. It is nestled among the hills with a wraparound porch to maximize the beautiful surrounding landscape. A striking red front door stands out against the greenery.
The simplicity of the house continues inside. It has a modern open layout where a central bar and a freestanding fireplace separates the living area from the eat-in kitchen. The red hue from the entry door is mirrored in the interior doors and some of the furnishings to create interest in the home’s white scheme. Sleek, black appliances and wrought iron framings on the wooden shelves enhance the kitchen while floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass door off the living space blur the line between the indoors and the outdoors.
A narrow hallway to the left brings you to the bedrooms. They are privately secluded to create an intimate feel. The primary bedroom, which is located at the far end has private access to the wraparound balcony.
