The house is located on an urban plot of 800 m2 (20 m x 40 m approximately). As a priority, the design of a compact house with a simple and easy-to-live distribution is sought, the order contemplates at least leaving half of the land as a garden. For this reason, it is decided to develop a house on 3 levels.
The first floor contains all the common enclosures, being a very transparent level towards the garden and the terrace. The kitchen is considered as a very important place in the house where the family spends most of their time. The terrace is located in such a way that it is complemented with the Living-Dining room and kitchen.
At this level there is a study that should have the flexibility to be part of the house and eventually be able to close to receive people without hindering the operation and privacy of the house, this is achieved with a sliding door that separates the entrance hall from the rest of the house. On the second floor are all the bedrooms, it is a more private level and closed to the outside, has a very functional layout, and seeks to have a good sun and view, orienting the bedrooms to the north and east.
On the third floor is the family room, a place for games and recreation. Being between two large terraces where you can have a great view of the Andes and the city. The use of wood (heat-treated), glass, and metal predominates in the house.
