This is a front view of the house that has large concrete structures that match the large concrete parking area leading to the entrance.

This view of the back of the house features the proximity of the glass walls to the swimming pool at the back of the house.

This swimming pool is surrounded by a walkway of beige outdoor tiles that pair well with the grass lawn and the exteriors of the house filled with glass.

At the far end of this pool is an elevated area on a small hill leading to a covered patio at the back of the house.

This is the middle part of the house with a small backdoor walkway leading to the poolside area. This has glass walls and glass doors that show the interiors.

Beyond the backyard swimming pool area is a lush landscape of grass lawns, small trees and outdoor lights.

This view of the backyard entrance shows the bright white walls, glass walls and doors and the beige tiles on the walkway leading to the pool.

Upon entry of the house, you are welcomed by this bright foyer with a wooden bench on the side of the glass wall.

This is the side of the house with potted plants to complement the area in between the glass wall and the outer concrete wall.

This is the back outer gate at the far corner of the outer wall with a set of floating steps leading to the second level outdoor areas.

This is a bedroom with a simple wooden platform bed illuminated by the large sliding doors on the opposite side leading to the balcony.

This is the living room with glass walls to brings in natural lighting for the hardwood flooring and matching wooden sofa set with cushions.

This other bedroom has a platform bed in a dark wooden tone to stand out against the hardwood flooring. beige walls and ceiling that are illuminated by the glass wall.

This bedroom has a large dark wooden structure that houses the vanity, sink and built-in cabinetry across from the toilet.

Designed as a contemporary single floor house on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, the design is a luxurious sprawl in the lap of natural surroundings. The house is responsive and essentially orients itself towards the existing palm trees.

It is designed to be inclusive of the natural elements- the sun, sky, earth, water, and air. The layout segregates the parent’s and son’s living units and yet unites through a meeting place – the central bay, that is more open in nature.
