While popularity certainly is NOT an indicator of quality and neither is it a signal that you should choose this type of shelf. The point I’m making is that it’s a popular size because it’s a great size and offers great storage function in many rooms.

As with all cube storage options, the types very significantly (see our epic 17 types of cube shelves here). There are symmetric cube formations as well as asymmetric cube formations. Moreover, shelving options vary by materials used, color and shape.
