Vancouver, Canada, 2024-11-26 – The Backcountry Hut Company is thrilled to announce that its innovative System 02 cabin, created in collaboration with acclaimed designers at Leckie Studio, has won Construction Product Design of the Year at the renowned BLT Design Awards. This international accolade celebrates excellence in architecture and construction, recognizing projects and products that push the industry forward. This award underscores The Backcountry Hut Company’s role as a thought leader in the prefab and modular space, delivering solutions that exemplify innovation, sustainability, and global impact.
The System 02 is a testament to The Backcountry Hut Company’s commitment to redefining what’s possible in prefabricated structures. Known for its versatility, the System 02 stands out as one of the most adaptable cabin kits available, featuring a modular design that can be configured in multiple ways and sizes. With more than 25 installations across Canada and the US, ranging from 691 sq ft to 1,826 sq ft, this cabin can be completed in just 4–6 weeks.
