Silver is such a wonderfully versatile color. It can be warm or cool, it can be modern, industrial, sleek, stylish, and lush. Silver can be dull or shiny, sparkly or matte. This versatile shade is a great color to use for a kitchen space thanks to its versatility, and because things that come in silver are usually the best materials to have in kitchens.
That’s why we’ve prepared this wonderfully collection that is filled with a ton of beautiful kitchen designs that are using silver paint, stainless steel appliances, silver floors, decor, and everything else in between in order to create something completely fabulous. We hope that it gives you all of the inspiration that you need to fulfill your at-home kitchen renovations!
1. The Copper & Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: This is a very impressive kitchen that was obviously designed for someone who is a very impressive cook. Stainless steel appliances giving that industrial feel, while a stainless steel countertop is super modern and and stylish.
We have beautiful dark gray cabinetry at work that is camouflaging a huge refrigerator, and a giant centre kitchen island that has one surface as a prepping area, and another lifted service that can act as a little breakfast bar for some stools underneath.
Flooring: I find that the floor is the element of the room that really sets it apart from the average stainless steel-clad kitchen. We have a gorgeous shined floor in a beautiful rusted color that really warms the room up and tones down the industrial theme.
Lighting: While we have the very utile pot lights that are recessed in the ceiling for properly illuminated prep areas, we also have some cute little hanging light features that make the room feel less stiff and more inviting.
Windows: I believe that every kitchen is mad better by natural light, and we’re getting tons of it from these wonderful and huge windows with stainless steel framing.
2. The Warm Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: This is a great example of a room that is using silver, but using it in a way that isn’t extremely industrial or looks like it’s professional grade. Using a warmer, darker silver paint for the cabinets makes the room feel modern, while having stainless steel hardware brings that serious element.
A beautiful white, porcelain farmhouse kitchen really lightens up the darker cabinetry, as does the sleek white countertops. Two ovens feel impressive, while the white brick back splash adds a nice element of texture.
Flooring: Very simple limestone tiling keeps the room feeling minimal, and acts as a nice matte counterpart to the pearl silver paint.
Lighting: While we have awesome light coming from the window, there are also pot lights over the kitchen sink as well as some rail lights under the upper cabinets.
Windows: This gorgeous landscape window gives some necessary natural light to the room, while the fact that the window frame is wooden adds a natural and rustic element to the otherwise modern room.
3. The Sunny Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Here we have some cooler toned, shiny silver cabinets. This goes wonderfully with the gorgeous and elegant white marble countertops and darker silver tile back splash. This is a kitchen that’s clearly made for high volume a double gas stove top and double oven to boot!
Flooring: I always love a wood floor in a kitchen, and in this case it does a really good job of warming up the room and extending the open feeling towards the dining area. This makes it feel like one giant room instead of two separate spaces.
Lighting: We have great utility lighting in this space with recessed lighting lining the entire ceiling for the best prepping experience.
Windows: A ton of natural light is coming from the huge sliding doors set off of the dining room. I love it when eating areas are set right off of an outdoor area, and in this case it basically doubles the square footage of the room!
4. The Tiny Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Dark gray, high gloss kitchen cabinets look really wonderful against lighter tones that are present throughout this quaintly sized kitchen. White back splash and white vaulted ceilings help make the room feeling expansive, where darker tones ground areas that should be grounded.
Flooring: Sticking to the silver color scheme, we have super light gray stained wood flooring to add another element of lightness to this small kitchen.
Lighting: Though we can’t see it at the moment, tons of natural light is streaming in from a huge window to the left of the space.
5. The White & Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: This kitchen space has a super stylish theme going on white silver matte cabinets, white countertops, a white waterfall style kitchen island, white walls, and stainless steel appliances. I really love the layout of this kitchen with a classic L shape and generously sized kitchen island.
Lighting: There is some very subtle lighting going on the room with hidden recessed lighting in the ceiling.
Windows: We see a super sweet little landscape peep window set between the kitchen cabinets and gas stovetop. This adds a fun little element and also the necessary natural lighting for a kitchen to feel its best!
6. The Deep Gray Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Here we have a really cool single wall kitchen that is doing some amazing space saving. With super high gloss, dark silver cabinets contrasting a white countertop, and wooden accents to bring some warmth, this little kitchen really does have everything that you need!
Despite its small size, it still manages to fit a gas stove top, a double oven, and a camouflage fridge with a gorgeous wooden door. Using a mirror for the back splash is a genius way to make the room feel even bigger.
Flooring: Using a gorgeous sand color stain for the wood flooring acts as a great contrast to the darker kitchen cabinets, and adds a rustic warmth as well.
Lighting: While we have some standard recessed lighting in the ceiling, we also have some beautifully warmer toned rail lights set under the upper cabinets for all of your import prep work.
7. The Country Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: I think that this is one of my favorite kitchens in the entire collection. Instead of using silver paint, we see stainless steel cabinets and appliances, with a dark gray countertop and dark gray stonework on the wall and flooring.
I genuinely can’t tell if this is an indoor or outdoor kitchen, but quite frankly I don’t think it really matters! I simply love the idea of having a barbecue as my main cooking source. Who doesn’t want to cook over fire?
Flooring: Gorgeous flagstone lines the floor of the (I think it’s outdoor) space that seamlessly blends into the stone work walls, creating an incredibly rustic but lush appeal.
Lighting: I’m completely it love with these two white hanging lantern features. The room needed a softer element, and we get that with these gorgeous pieces.
8. The Silver Slate Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Here we have another great example of a kitchen that is using a small space to its utmost ability. Beautiful silver tiling has been used for the back splash of the breakfast bar, dark gray countertops adorn high gloss gray cabinets, and robust wooden chairs say around a dark gray dining table.
This great kitchen space uses multi levels to create more space where this isn’t too much, and different levels of cabinets ensure you have enough storage space without it feeling too cramped.
Lighting: Another great feature of this kitchen is the fact that it has more interesting lighting than your standard pot lights! I love the UFO shaped hanging light fixture in the middle of the kitchen, as well as the 3 pendant lights hanging over the dining room table.
Windows: Natural light is abundant in this space, with a great little landscape style peep window over the kitchen sink, and a big window lining the dining room area.
9. The Modern Art Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: This is another one of my favorites in the collection. The silver theme is coming through with tons of features made of stainless steel: the countertops, main appliances, and the floating shelves!
While this could look a little too sterile in some spaces, the use of personal effects and incorporation of warmer features made of brass really warm up the space and make it feel very inviting. The inviting aspect also comes through with the sheer size of the breakfast bar and amount of seating available for guests.
Flooring: Keeping up with the industrial appeal to this space, the floor here is made of huge cement tiles in a gentle hue, which ends up feeling more warm than anything else. The tiles are also the same color as the bar stools which is a nice touch.
Lighting: We have entirely standard but entirely necessary light fixtures in this space with recessed lighting in the ceiling, and a line up of spot lights for supplemental lighting.
This gorgeous kitchen design is brought to you by Matthew Gallant Photography.
10. The Marble Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: This kitchen design features a lighter color scheme, complete with white countertops and wall paint, while an elegant marble back splash elevates. Stainless steel appliances and drawers bring that nice professional kitchen appeal, and bursts of green bring some life into the space.
Lighting: This is a great example of a kitchen that means no funny business with super standard recessed lighting in the ceiling and underneath the upper cabinetry.
Windows: A large window on the back wall brings in some lovely natural light while ensuring the room doesn’t end up feeling too sterile.

11. The Mid Century Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: All of those other times I said that a kitchen was my favorite in a collection, I was lying. This one is my favorite. This gorgeous space is nothing but class with a gorgeous wood panelled ceiling, stainless steel countertops and appliances, and bursts of wood throughout the room to bring a level of coziness and naturalness.
Flooring: While sometimes concrete flooring can feel a little bit stiff, the fact that a waterfall effect has been created flowing from the kitchen island to the floor makes it feel elegant. Wood elements are the best contrast for cooler ones, and this space feelings nothing but stylish and inviting.
Lighting: I can’t even tell where the light fixtures have been implemented in this room, which I think is a very skillful and stylish design choice. This room can do no wrong in my eyes!
Windows: There is nothing that I love more than an outdoor space set off of a kitchen, and this one is truly impeccable. We have an entire sunroom style balcony set off of the kitchen bringing in ample natural light, and two other windows set around the room as well!
If you love this room as much as I do, you’ll want to know the designer’s name which is: Gerrad Hall Architects.
12. The Bright & Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Here we have another great example of a smaller kitchen that doesn’t have to sacrifice anything for sake of size. This L shaped space features stainless steel silver cabinets paired with stunning marble countertops that flows into a marble backsplash. Having more shallow counters is an incredible space saving idea, as well as having a rectangle shaped stovetop rather than square. Genius!
Flooring: While so much of the room is in a cooler tone, it’s nice to off set that with some very warmly colored hardwood floors. They are grounding (literally), and inviting!
Lighting: Built in rail lights under the upper stainless steel cabinets are the perfect choice to light up your important dinner prep tasks!
Windows: Every room is made better by a window, and so is this one with a lovely white panelled window pane.
This lovely kitchen design is from Rasmussen Construction.
13. The Napa Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Now this is a very impressive kitchen. Certainly professional grade, this kitchen features nothing but stainless steel appliances and surfaces, a huge kitchen island with plenty of open storage space and a seating area, as well as a very impressive pull down faucet double sink. This is a top notch kitchen design.
Flooring: Though not seen very often, I simply adore the fact that white floors were chosen for this space. Though risky for a space with a ton of foot traffic, the white floors do a great job of warming up an otherwis sterile space made entirely of steel. The floors helps it feel warm and inviting.
Lighting: I love how the lighting in the room is decorative, but also cleanly blends in with the window framing. Two different black light fixtures help illuminate, but also add a fun decorative element to a room that it otherwise purely for utility.
Windows: The windows in this space are really what brings it to another level. Black window framing acts as an incredible contrast tool against all of the silver and white and almost turns the windows into pieces of art.
Another one of my absolute favorite designs, with the design coming from Emerick Architects.
14. The Professional Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Here we have another very impressive, professional grade kitchen. This incredible U Shaped kitchen is massive, and it features nothing but the best stainless steel appliances, surfaces, shelving, kitchen island, and pretty much anything that can be made with stainless steel, it is.
Flooring: Very warmly stained wood flooring would look beautiful in any room, but it looks particularly good in this kitchen. The warmth of stain feels necessary against this otherwise very stiff and sterile kitchen space.
Lighting: I think the lighting in this room is very cleverly done. Warmer hued lightbulbs were used for the ceiling lights and lights set under the shelves. The way the this light bounces off of the white walls really warms up the room and makes it feel very inviting.
Windows: Two vertical windows with black window framing add just the right amount of light for this professional grade kitchen space.
This lovely kitchen design has been brought to you by Koch Architects – Joanne Koch.
15. The Sleek Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Here we see featured a truly stunning eat-in kitchen featuring a silver and white color scheme. This L shaped space is adorned with white high gloss cabinets, offset by stainless steel appliances and sparkles of black hardware set throughout the room. A truly impeccably designed space.
Flooring: Simple stone tiling in the perfect shade of light gray is the ideal counterpart to this stark color scheme of white, silver, and black, blending all of the colors together to get the exact shade we see on the floor.
Lighting: I think that the lighting in this room is so cleverly done! When kitchens are featuring a ton of stainless steel appliances, it’s very important to have warmer lighting to offset the cooler tones in the rest of the room, preventing it from feeling like a hospital.
This is done super well in this space not with the standard pot lights set in the ceiling, but rail lights set both above and underneath the cabinets. Impeccable!
This stunning and modern kitchen design has been created by Studio Marco Piva.
16. The Silver View Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: This is truly something to behold. This hallway style kitchen is anything but standard with wall to wall stainless steel cabinets and drawers, a huge kitchen island with a built in stove top, and that very curious wall cutout that’s the primary source of counter space and light.
Flooring: This hyper modern kitchen is perfectly offset by antique looking hardwood floors, adding just the right element of warmth.
Lighting: This space has some very unique lighting features, with rail lights being used to illuminate the ceiling, and the same kind of lights doing the same for that curious counter nook. I’ve never seen a kitchen so uniquely lit, but I am a fan.
Windows: I love a wall to wall window, and it feels necessary in this space. The added element of greenery we get from the stunning view outside brings an organic freshness to the otherwise spacey theme. A very fun and unique contrast!
This fantastic room design is thanks to ESCURA ARQUITECTOS.
17. The Serene Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: Here we have an absolutely heavenly kitchen design. Definitely the warmest of this silver themed collection, this L shaped kitchen with a huge kitchen island and breakfast bar is perfect for hosting and creating Michelin star meals.
A white waterfall countertop holds a sand colored wooden back splash and warm leather stools, while literally everything else in the room is made of stainless steel. The lighting is really what makes this room pop, but we’ll go over that in a little bit!
Flooring: Super dark hardwood flooring acts as the perfect back splash to this very bright kitchen. The dark floors are grounding and gorgeous against a very modern design.
Lighting: Though it may just be the time of day that this photo was taken, but the lighting in this room is really what makes it feel heavenly. The hue chosen for the lightbulbs is almost like a golden hour bulb which then bounces off all of the light surfaces and turns the space into a light and warm atmosphere.
This simply serene kitchen area has been designed by Adams Gerndt Design Group.
18. The Rustic Silver Kitchen
Furniture & Appliances: We’re finishing off this collection beautifully with an L shaped kitchen space that is perfect for the family. Featuring white cabinets, wood floors and a wood eating area, silver aspects adorn the upper portion of the room in form of stainless steels appliances and super cool silver tiling for the back splash.
Flooring: This very homey wood flooring acts as the perfect counterpart to the white and silver, toning down the industrial modern feel and bringing in some family country kitchen. The perfect harmony!
Lighting: This room features excellently camouflaged lighting present in the ceiling and under the upper shelving units.
This gorgeous kitchen space has been wonderfully designed by Good Property Company.
