Meghan Markle’s acting career took flight in 2011 when she took on a lead role in the successful show Suits. The same year, she and Trevor Engelson got married and began renting in L.A. The couple shared the Colonial-style home located in the Hancock Park neighborhood. The high-end location is within eyeshot of the busy downtown area of Hollywood.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, spent nine months out of the year filming Suits in Toronto. But, she called her California address her home until her divorce in 2013.
The princess’s style remains intact and classy, with a price tag of $1.8 million.
Natural sunlight illuminates all 2,262 square feet (ca. 2 a) of the L.A. property. The open floor plan includes four bedrooms, three baths, and two sitting rooms.

Markle is and was her own person before becoming a princess in the United Kingdom. She starred as Rachel Zane on the legal drama Suits from 2011 to 2018.
The Duchess made her own fortune, reportedly earning $450,000 an episode along with two clothing lines and her lifestyle blogs. Minor roles on other shows raked in approximately $200,00 an appearance.
By the time Meghan reached royalty status, she was worth a staggering $5 million.
In 2018, Markle married her prince charming, Harry, and had a child. But don’t count her out when it comes to living in California. The Duchess and her prince are reportedly considering a home in the Golden State to remain close to her mother.
Exciting her fans and followers, real estate agent Sheri Beinstock lists the dream house at $1.8 million
What makes this L.A. residence dramatic is the open floor plan, for sure. The minimalist approach to decorating allows the open space to really sing. Smooth flooring gives off a homey feel while the clean colored walls reflect and enhances every ray of glamorous sunshine the open floor plan allows in.
