Pros
- Looks great: The built-in wine racks can look fabulous especially when filled up with bottles.
- Convenient: If you drink plenty of wine or host guests frequently, it’s convenient to have a dozen bottles immediately available in your kitchen.
- Save fridge-space: If you opt for a wine fridge, it helps keep your main fridge space available for other items. I know we could definitely benefit from a beverage fridge. Which brings up another point… wine refrigerators can store any type of cool beverage.
Cons
- Takes up space: Built-in wine racks and wine refrigerators take up valuable storage space or workspace.
- Expensive: If you go the built-in route, it can be costly (most custom built-in options can be expensive).
