User-Friendly Floor Plan Designer

We like things simple and so this software was designed for regular folks, as in non-professionals. Our drawing tool is all drag and drop so that you can easily and quickly create any room quickly. It’s fun too.

Save, Export & Archive

You may not get your room designed during your first session. That’s okay, because you can save your work in the room planner system and return to finish it at a later date.

4-Step Floor Plan Maker Process

When it comes to designing your own floor plans with software, there’s a simple process involved. First, you create the layut in basic format which is two-dimensional. Next, you convert to 3D where you can edit and make changes, but most importantly you can better visualize your creation. Finally, you dress it up with the 4,000+ items in the the decor catalog.

Step 1: Create 2D Floor Plan

To the right is an example of what a rudimentary 2D house plan looks like. 2D is the ideal format for creating your layout and floor plan. You can easily move walls, add doors and windows and overall create each room of your house.  You can create a simple floor plan or something far more complex.  No graph paper needed here!

Step 2: Convert to 3D Floor Plan Diagram

Once you have a basic layout done, click the “3D” button and it converts the 2D design into something like what you see below. Yes, it’s still barebones, but you get a better visual of what you’re creating.  Our floor planner software is a super fun 3D modeling tool.

Step 3: Furnish and Decorate

The final stage is fine-tuning your house design by adding furniture, appliances, plants and all other decor items to each room in your home design. While a little bit time-consuming, this final step gives you a great idea of how your home or individual rooms will look. It’s at this stage you can hone your design ideas.

Step 4: Add all kinds of furniture into your floor plan blueprints

This is where the fun starts. Actually, it’s all fun. I love the early stages of floor plan design when planning the overall layout.

However, there’s more to house design than just a layout. You need to visualize how it’ll look with all the usual trappings like appliances, furniture, wall art etc. Fortunately for you, the software has a massive catalog of over 4,000 household items including furniture and appliances that you can incorporate into your design.
