Why Build a Craft Room?
If you’re into crafting, quilting, sewing or some other creative hobby, it’s really nice to have a dedicated space for those pursuits. Working at the kitchen table isn’t so pleasant.
It doesn’t take much to create a craft room… place it in the basement, an extra bedroom or if you have the space or are planning your home, create a designated room for crafting.
My mom was always into sewing and now also quilts extensively. In the beginning she worked in the basement but now she has a large quilting room with plenty of work and storage space for your favorite pursuit (she’s really good too).
Often a craft room doubles as a home office. This is great because after all most home offices just require a little desk space and a computer.
