Cheryl Tiegs decided to put her 4,770 square–foot mansion on the market for $18.5 million. Cheryl Tiegs is a world-famous model and America’s favorite model of the 1970s and 1980s. She has had the home since 1996 and has seen a fantastic appreciated valuation for the home. When she purchased it she spent $2.49 million for the house. Now, she is asking for just about six times that amount. Nice figures for a nicely figured gal. You go, Cheryl!

Once you turn onto the driveway, you’ll feel like you’re in the land of Bali. This Balinese-inspired dwelling place is truly a sight to behold. The rich woods and tranquil atmosphere transform you as you move throughout. The vaulted ceilings are accented by wood beams that take you back into another place in time. My favorite part of the home is the tranquil pool that exudes an essence that pervades every inch of the home. The tropical foliage surrounds with delight and wonder.
The home has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces that commingle to bring the outdoors inside. Everywhere you look you can see the lush outdoors. The home boasts numerous glass walls that open directly to vegetation and gorgeous views. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home also has a complete chef’s kitchen with an expansive butcher block island. The grounds have a three-car garage, a quaint and a richly decorated guest house as well as a wine cellar.
Highlighting A Career To Be Proud Of
Cheryl Tiegs left her college career to continue pursuing her desire to model. Starting her career when she was just 17, she emanated grace and fine culture wherever her face was seen. Some magazine covers that she appeared on include; Glamour, Seventeen, Elle, Sports Illustrated – Swimsuit Issue and Time. In fact, Cheryl has been on Time magazine 3 times she’s also had 4 stints as the cover girl of People magazine. She graced the cover of Sports Illustrated 3 times.
Bel Air: The Accidental Home Of The Stars
Cheryl Tiegs has great taste and has expanded her career to include philanthropy and many other interests. Her 1.43-acre property in Bel Air gives the visitor a feeling of being in the deep tropics as opposed to being in suburban Los Angeles. This is accomplished by the extensive driveway. A visitor gets the opportunity to “leave it all behind”. We say that Bel Air is the accidental home of the stars. When it was originally developed in the 1920s by an oilman and tennis champion, it was not intended to be a celebrity enclave. However, today Bel Air is the home to Jennifer Aniston, Jay Z and Beyoncé as well as Cheryl. It is also home to the most expensive house currently for sale in these United States at $225 million.
We’re not certain where Cheryl will make her next dwelling place, but we are happy for her as she moves on from Bel Air to her very own bigger and better.
