Blue is a serene and inviting color that resembles water, making it a great color choice for your master bathroom. You can use either light and pale hues of blue or go for dark or navy blue for a more dramatic effect. If you choose to go with darker blues though, make sure there is plenty of natural lighting otherwise it will make your space seem smaller. Out of the 11,410 bathrooms analyzed, we found that only 1.20% of bathrooms have a blue color design.
This photo gallery features several beautiful bathrooms with all different shades of blue. Some use light pale blue, some use baby blue and some use navy blue. Each one of these styles is unique in their own way and they’ll help you design your perfect blue master bathroom.

Blue Color Schemes

Blue is cool color that can be easily paired with other colors to create a really great color scheme. It looks good with other cool colors, neutrals and even warm colors. The different color combinations each give off different vibes.

Blue with Neutral Colors

This color combination works well together and can be used for both big and small spaces. Pale blue, and white work for small spaces because they create the feeling of being light and airy. While black and gray help to create depth and ground all the colors. For a more modern look, try pairing bright blue and black together. Typically when you use a darker shade of blue, the overall temperature feeling in the room seems cooler, but combined with light neutrals such as white or beige, you’ll prevent that cold feeling.

Blue and Cool Colors

When you combine two cool colors together, such as blue and green or even blue and purple, you create feelings of calmness and relaxation. If you want your master bathroom to feel like a peaceful getaway, then any of these cool colors combined together are great for that.

Blue and Warm Colors

You can combine blue with contrasting colors such as red, yellow or orange for a bold revitalizing design. Bright warm colors on their own can seem intense and sometimes overactive but you can pair them with a dark calming blue for a great combination. This color scheme works well together if you are looking to create a more cozy and intimate feeling in your bathroom.
