When it comes to finding the potential cons for Kickserv, the speed and capability of the mobile app need some work. Specifically, uploading files, images and attachments from the field can be very slow. Another downside to the platform is the lack of an inventory management system. If your business involves inventory, Kickserv may leave you looking for an additional solution.
While the platform is excellent for sending invoices and accepting payment, it currently doesn’t support the tracking of your purchases. It would be nice if the program evolved to include purchases, so you could truly have a more holistic picture of your business financials.
Another major detractor is creating your own invoice and estimate templates. Simply put, you’ll need to know a bit about HTML to effectively create your own estimates and invoice templates.
If you have a problem, the Kickserv team offers a range of ways for you to find a solution. For starters, they offer a healthy volume of articles and solutions through the help center. You can simply search a keyword and find various articles on the topic. In addition, Kickserve offers:

When it comes to usability and ease of use, Kickserv is simple and relatively streamlined. Most functions are very intuitive and can be completed with a few clicks of a button. However, I noticed two problems with the platform’s ease of use. The first issue is the mobile app functionality. At times it can be slow and not as robust as the laptop or desktop experience.
The second issue — and probably most important — is the process of creating estimate templates and invoices. Instead of requiring the user to know HTML, Kickserv would be infinitely easier to use if there was a templated builder or guide. Even though business owners can access support for assistance, doing so requires time — a commodity many people are already short on.

Because there are no one-size-fits-all solutions, Kickserve offers four different accounts starting at $59.00 for a solo account. Small teams with up to five users can use this powerful platform for as little as $99.00 per month on the Starter Plan, while the Premium account with an unlimited number of users and access to advanced features is $299.00 a month.
